Claygate CC will play a T20 test match against the Grace Dear Trust side from 2pm and we will also be holding the Junior section awards. There is a BBQ (menu attached), music and a raffle to raise funds for the trust.
We’ve got some exciting raffle prizes lined up with the main prize being a DeliVita Diavolo Gas Fired Pizza Oven valued at £300. Loads of prizes are being added to the list so don’t miss out.
All proceeds from the raffle and donations will go to the Grace Dear Trust. The first £2,000 in donations will also be match funded by an exceptionally generous family within the club.
Don't forget that club members receive a 20% discount off drinks at the cafe.

About the Grace Dear Trust
The Grace Dear Trust is a local mental health charity aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues among young people and supporting them and their families. The Trust was set up by the Dear family following the loss of Grace to suicide in 2017 and has a strong presence in Elmbridge as well as in broader Surrey. The Trust are actively involved in local schools and also host a variety of events to increase awareness and fund their activities.
Claygate Cricket Club's Support
The Dear family have been an integral part of Claygate cricket club over the years and have contributed in countless ways both on and off the field. The club looked at ways to support the Trust and help raise awareness which is why we carry the Grace Dear Trust logo on all shirts, across both the adult and junior sides, and we also use opportunities like this event to increase visibility of their important work and help raise funds.
